============

I. WEATHERED EQUIPMENT

Most "weathered" equipment is obtained from Auriana in Mor Dhona in exchange for Tomes of Soldiery and is i100 in its base form. The price format for equipment is as follows:

Head: 495 Soldiery
Body: 825 Soldiery
Hands: 495 Soldiery
Waist: 375 Soldiery
Legs: 825 Soldiery
Feet: 495 Soldiery
Accessories: 375 Soldiery
Shield (PLD ONLY): 390 Soldiery

Ia. Weathered sets (i100)

TANK (WAR, PLD) "Noct" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

Shield

HEALER (WHM, SCH) "Daystar" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

NUKING (BLM, SMN) "Evenstar" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

DRG "Astrum" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

[See MNK set for accessories shared by both classes.]

MNK "Gloam" set

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

BRD "Auroral" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

Ib. Upgrading to i110

There are one of two items required, beside the weathered piece itself, needed to upgrade from i100 to i110. For all armor slots (including the belt), Sands of Time are required, reportedly dropping from Coil Turn 8.
For accessories, Oil of Time is required, reportedly dropping from Coil Turn 7.

The upgraded sets are as follows:

TANK (WAR, PLD) "Noct" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

Shield

HEALER (WHM, SCH) "Daystar" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

NUKING (BLM, SMN) "Evenstar" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

DRG "Astrum" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

[See MNK set for accessories shared by both classes.]

MNK "Gloam" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

BRD "Auroral" set
Head / Body / Hands / Waist / Legs / Feet

Neck / Ears / Wrists / Ring

Ic. Weapons

The initial purchase of weathered weapons requires several Rowena's Token (Soldiery), which can be purchased for 130 Soldiery each. Totalling at 10, this brings the cost to 1,300 Soldiery per weapon (excluding Sword which only requires 7 tokens or 910 Soldiery). On top of that, an Unidentified Allagan Tomestone is required, reportedly dropping from Coil Turn 7.
The weapons themselves are dealt by Aelina, not Auriana.

Weathered weapons (i100) are as follows:

W. Burtgang (PLD)
W. Conquerer (WAR)
W. Yagrush (WHM)
W. Book of Diamonds (SCH)
W. Laevateinn (BLM)
W. Book of Spades (SMN)
W. Liberator (DRG)
W. Glanzfaust (MNK)
W. Rosenbogen (BRD)

Upgrading these items simply requires the previously mentioned Sands of Time, as with armor pieces. The fully upgraded weapons (i110) are as follows:

Burtgang (PLD)
Conquerer (WAR)
Yagrush (WHM)
Book of Diamonds (SCH)
Laevateinn (BLM)
Book of Spades (SMN)
Liberator (DRG)
Glanzfaust (MNK)
Rosenbogen (BRD)

II. Coil 2 (T6-T9) equipment (i110-115)

Binding Coils of Bahamut, Turns 6-9 (hereafter referred to as "Coil 2") are the tiers following the initial 5 Turns ("Coil 1"). Twintania, boss of Turn 5, must be beaten in order to progress here.
The equipment dropped in Coil 2 resembles that of Coil 1, this time named High Allagan. All armor is i110 (weapons i115) with no upgrades necessary. The following is a list of weapons and armor for each class, as well as the Turn they are reported to drop from:

WEAPONS:
High Allagan Blade (PLD)
High Allagan Battleaxe (WAR) **Personal favourite**
High Allagan Crook (WHM)
High Allagan Grimoire of Healing (SCH)
High Allagan Staff (BLM)
High Allagan Grimoire of Casting (SMN)
High Allagan Spear (DRG)
High Allagan Baghnakhs (MNK)

IIb. Coil 2 accuracy caps

Sources indicate that a desired iLv. for T9 is around i100. The video sources above suggest an accuracy rating of:

TANKS: 513 accuracy
BARD: 513 accuracy (see video above for more information)
MELEE: 492 accuracy
SUMMONER: ~490 accuracy
BLACK MAGE: 470 accuracy

These accuracy ratings are specific to T9 and, if correct, will be more than sufficient for all previous tiers as well.

III. Leviathan EXTREME weapons (i95-100)

"Lord of the Whorl" Leviathan, as we all know, is a recurring representation for the water element attributed to summoning classes, his biggest claim to fame being shown on the box for the PC port of Final Fantasy VIII. The fight requires some progression through the main scenario to access, and is host to two sets of weapons; one directly (as with previous Primals), and one externally via Aelina in Mor Dhona.

The "hard" variant of the fight can be regarded equally as the first Ifrit, Titan and Garuda fights, as it is directly correlated to the main scenario and drops no equipment (but does, however, potentially drop an item used to make a furnishing or Chocobo barding).

The "extreme" variant of the fight is accessed via completion of both the main scenario up to "Lord of the Whorl", as well as completion of the three previous extreme Primals. The i95 equipment dropped directly from this fight is as follows:

Wave Shamshir (PLD)
Wave Shield (PLD)
Wave Axe (WAR) **Note: disappointing**
Wave Wand (WHM) **Note: 1H weapon**
Wave Buckler (WHM)
Wave Codex (SCH)
Wave Staff (BLM)
Wave Grimoire (SMN)
Wave Harpoon (DRG)
Wave Patas (MNK)
Wave Bow (BRD)

Leviathan has been shown to drop 3 weapons in one fight. On top of this, there is a chance that a Mirror of the Whorl will appear in the chest, which can be traded to Aelina (with the i95 piece) for one of the following i100 versions:

Tidal Wave Shamshir (PLD)
Tidal Wave Shield (PLD)
Tidal Wave Axe (WAR) **Still disappointing**
Tidal Wave Wand (WHM)
Tidal Wave Buckler (WHM)
Tidal Wave Codex (SCH)
Tidal Wave Staff (BLM)
Tidal Wave Grimoire (SMN)
Tidal Wave Harpoon (DRG)
Tidal Wave Patas (MNK)
Tidal Wave Bow (BRD)

On a lesser note, this fight also offers a chance of another item that can be crafted into a glowing version of the other furnishing.

I have it on good authority that the battle music is dangerously overrun with J-pop elements. Please proceed with caution.

IV. Thornmarch EXTREME [Kupo] accessories (i100)

Kupo. Kupo kupo kupo. Battle music copyright aside, this battle does not have much to offer beside some i100 neck pieces to bridge the gap between i90 and i110. These are as follows:

Ribbon of Fending (Tank)
Ribbon of Healing (Healer)
Ribbon of Casting (BLM/SMN)
Ribbon of Slaying (DRG/MNK)
Ribbon of Aiming (BRD)

There's not much else to say here. I will add some battle strategies soon.

To be continued upon next perihelion of Sedna..

Added some guides for Coil 2. Mostly Mr. Happy (videos aren't bad but have a tendency to be long-winded).

Added rough information on accuracy caps for T9, which should be the highest caps in the game right now.
